MESA is back! Last year we entertained twenty-one 4th and 5th grade students one day a week afterschool with STEM activities through Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). The students were given 4 STEM challenges to build and were treated to hands on science each session. It was very challenging for each group and volunteer. But we made it work!

This year STEM will be virtual and we can make that work too!  Come see what it’s all about and how we can make it happen for 2021! We would also love to see the 4th graders from last year!  Register here

ALSO: The Green and STEM committee has created a list of optional activities for your child to work on over the Winter Break.   Also, we have included several websites and videos that are related to “being green” and STEM.   If your child completes any of the activities, please take a picture of the project and upload your photo to the following Google drive.

We will be giving out a small prize to the students that participate in the Marshmallow Challenge project!
