Opportunity #1 - Daily Permanent Substitute Teacher

We are seeking individuals to serve as Daily Permanent Substitutes. If you enjoy substituting daily in various settings within a school building and are looking for a dynamic school community to call home, this position is for you! As a Daily Permanent Substitute teacher, you report to Cradlerock ES daily from 8:00-3:35 (or according to the early dismissal/late arrival schedule) to cover an unfilled substitute job. If all jobs are filled, daily permanent subs can support the building in other ways. The daily permanent substitute receives compensation at the long-term substitute rate outlined below from day one of the assignment.   • The following long-term pay rates will be effective starting on the first day of the assignment:

     

    • Retired Substitute Teacher              $169.00

    • Degreed Substitute Teacher            $169.00                                     

    • Non-degreed Substitute Teacher    $157.00 *(must have at least 60 approved college credits)

Opportunity #2 - 10-Hour Temporary Employee 

Are you looking for part-time work? CRES is hiring Temporary Employees (TEs)! We're looking for part-time Temporary Employees (TEs) to work with pre-k (3-year-old) students who receive special education services. Under the direction of our Regional Early Childhood Center Team, you'll help students meet the requirements of their IEP plan. Some experience working with children with disabilities and a minimum of a high school diploma or GED are required. Some college coursework is preferred. You must pass State/Federal criminal and Maryland CPS background checks.  The hours are four days a week (no work on Wednesdays or half days) from 8:45 to 11:15, with an average of 10 hours per week. The pay rate is $16.33/hour. This is a NON-benefit position, but it offers opportunities to network and grow within the school system.
