Greetings Cradlerock Families,
HCPSS schools are opening 2-hours late TOMORROW and TUESDAY! This delay allows staff time to address overnight refreezing on sidewalks, pathways, and parking lots, and helps ensure students can travel to bus stops and school safely with daylight. Bundle up those Bulldogs as it is going to remain very cold!
Families, please take note that this week’s schedule is altered daily. Here it is...

- Thursday 2/5/26 - Three-Hour Early Dismissal
- Cradlerock will dismiss at 12:10
- Parent Teacher Conferences after dismissal
- 1:00 through 4:00 pm, all conferences will be held in-person only
- Starting at 4:00, all conferences will be virtual only
- Friday 2/6/26 - Three-Hour Early Dismissal
- Cradlerock will dismiss at 12:10
- All Parent Teacher Conferences will be held virtually starting at 1:00
Cradlerock Way sidewalks and the paths behind our building are now cleared. On campus, our blacktop area, carloop, and other areas only have strategically cleared pathways that have been created to ensure access. Thanks again to our custodial and grounds team for all their hard work and please be careful out there!
For safety considerations, we ask that students not arrive early to school to play and encourage them to stay out of the snow to stay warm and dry throughout the day. Doors will open at 10:30 on Monday and Tuesday as stated above so please time the morning commute for our walkers as well as you can!

Parent Teacher Conference Information
On Thursday, 2/5 and Friday, 2/6, all HCPSS elementary schools will close 3 hours early for parent-teacher conferences. Cradlerock will dismiss at 12:10 on these dates. Please note the conference details below…
- On 2/5, 1:00 through 4:00 pm, all conferences will be held in-person only.
- On 2/5 starting at 4:00, all conferences will be virtual only.
- On 2/6, all conferences will be held virtually starting at 1:00.
Our teachers are excited to conference with their math class families. Please note the following…
- GT Math - Mrs. Schmitt will meet with her 5th grade math families.
- ELA Differentiated Staffing - Mrs. Sprankle will meet with 4th grade ELA families.
- Math Differentiated Staffing - Mrs. Carney and Mrs. Olive will meet with their math families.
- Related Arts - Our team will host an open office hour for parents to drop in and ask questions. Additionally, limited time slots will be offered to families based upon student progress.
The scheduling window opens for families to schedule these conferences in Synergy on 1/22 at 8am and closes on 1/30. If you miss the window, please email your teacher directly to schedule your conference.
